Product|Exclusive・Gypsy Rose Garnet|A garnet variety discovered by contemporary master lathe craftsman John Dyer during his 2005 visit to the Umba Valley in Tanzania. Umbalite, pyrospite, Malaya Garnet, and other important pomegranates that are quite popular today have been discovered around the Umba Valley. The chemical formula of the Gypsy Garnet discovered by John is very similar to that of the Rhodolite. Both are pyrospite. The difference is that the Gypsy Garnet contains an abnormally high (7.0~8.5%) calcium-aluminum ratio, which makes the Gypsy Garnet have a very bright and attractive red-orange color. The coloring effect of calcium and aluminum makes the color of the Gypsy Garnet stand out among many red garnets, and it will never be dull or black. What's even better is that its superb clarity is a purity that is difficult for any member of the garnet family to achieve. It is also a member of the pomegranate family with a Mohs hardness of 7.5. It is polished from raw ore without heating or treatment. The Gypsy garnet is named after the discoverer John Dyer and is sold exclusively. Clarity|FL [Flawless means flawless. This gem is called flawless because it refers to the GIA clarity standard for diamonds under 10x magnification. It is applied to this gem to show that even under 10x magnification, no inclusions in the gem can be seen. If there are small flaws on the surface of the gem, they may only be seen under a microscope] Quantity|1.63 carats Shape|7.0 x 7.0 x 4.6 mm|JD Double-layer petal round Cut [Flat Faceted Round] Color|Bright red (not dull or black)
